It is an antibiotic drug, used for various infections caused by sensitive bacteria, for respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections and sexually transmitted diseases



By binding to the 50S subunit of the ribosome of sensitive bacteria, it inhibits RNA-dependent protein synthesis and exerts antibacterial effects, retaining the antibacterial spectrum of typical erythromycin.
