Product Description

Resveratrol is a natural polyphenolic plant antibiotic that is produced when plants are attacked by pathogens. Trans resveratrol is the natural form of resveratrol. Trans resveratrol is a natural polyphenolic plant guard. It has anti dementia and anti-tumor properties.
Resveratrol is an anthraquinone terpene compound, mainly derived from the rhizome extract of Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb.et Zucc. of the Polygonaceae family. Polygonum cuspidatum: a perennial shrubby herb, up to 1 meter tall. The rhizome lies horizontally underground, the wood is yellow-brown, and the nodes are obvious. The stem is erect, cylindrical, hairless on the surface, with many scattered red spots, and hollow. Single leaves are alternate, broadly ovate to nearly round, 7-12cm long, 5-9cm wide, with short tips and round or cuneate bases; petioles are 1-1.5cm long, the sheath is membranous, brown, and falls early. The flowering period is from July to September, and the fruiting period is from September to October. It can be dug, cut, and dried in spring and autumn. It is mostly grown in valleys, streams, or banks. It is distributed in central and southern China, and is produced in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Shandong, Henan, Shaanxi, Sichuan and other places.
