Product Description

L-valine is white monoclinic crystal or crystalline powder. It is colorless plate or flake crystal when it is re-cleaned with ethanol solution. Odorless, with a special bitter taste. Melting point is about 315ºC. The PH Chemicalbook of 5% aqueous solution is 5.5~7.0. Stable to heat, light and air. Soluble in water (8.85g/100ml, 25ºC), almost insoluble in ethanol and ether. Difficult separation from leucine. It is an essential amino acid.
