Agmatine sulfate is a product of L-arginine decarboxylase (L-ADC) that catalyzes the decarboxylation of arginine. It is a neurotransmitter that is distributed in most organs and tissues in mammals, and its content is organ specific, such as adrenal chromaffin cells, glial cells, and spherical cells in the carotid body.
