Product Description

Huperzine A is used as a coenzyme in REDOX reactions, as a donor of the ribose portion of ADP in An alkaloid extracted from Melaleuca, a plant of the hupereaceae family. It is a potent reversible inhibitor of cholinesterase, similar in character to neostigmine but with a longer duration of action. Animal experiments showed that the product had selective inhibition of true cholinesterase. The inhibition mode was a combination of competitive and non-competitive inhibition, which was significantly different from the single competitive inhibitor. It is easy to enter the center through the blood-brain barrier and has central and peripheral therapeutic effects.
