Product Description

Wild Yam Extract contains polysaccharides, starch, protein, free amino acids and trace elements. It has the functions of immune regulation, anti-oxidation, lowering blood sugar, reducing blood lipids, anti-tumor, regulating spleen and stomach function, anti-mutation and so on.Wild Yam is perennial grass vine. Rhizomes are thick-fleshed, cylindrical, and elongated into a rod at the end, extending into the ground, peeling, grayish brown, with fibrous roots.





1.Hypoglycemic effect
Wild Yam Extract  can reduce blood sugar in normal mice, prevent and treat diabetes induced by alloxouracil, and counteract the increase in blood sugar . Polysaccharide from White Yam can significantly reduce blood sugar and increase C-peptide value in diabetic rats. 
2.Hypolipidemic effect
It has been reported that feeding the purified starch of white yam to mice with atherosclerosis can reduce the concentration of lipids, and also reduce the concentration of sugars in the aorta and heart. In mice that had been fed free cholesterol and cholesterol-containing food, Huai Yam can reduce the concentration of cholesterol.
3.Effect on digestive tract
